Yonas Tesfay, Director of Hope for Children Ethiopia, and Josiah Carter, Beza Threads, will share their experience dealing with the complex issue of modern child slavery, and explain how their organizations are finding solutions through social entrepreneurism and sustainable practices. Hope for Children in Ethiopia is a community-based organization which works side-by-side with community members to provide holistic care and support for children. Beza Threads partners with victims of slavery to support them in a journey toward independence and personal stability. After sharing stories of those rescued from slavery in Ethiopia, there will be time for questions and discussion.
